Creativity-with-recycled-tires

When one can make eco-friendly furniture out of these worn-out tires then why disposing them off! State of the art furniture can be created using these; ranging from tables, chairs, sofas & apart from these, there are many other uses too: purse, shoes, sandals, sculptures, well the list seems to be never ending.
And the best part is there wont be much any wear & tear at all, it can be really be ultra hard wearing & weather proof.

Bike Furniture Design is a design and manufacturing studio specializing in contemporary, modern furniture made primarily from recycled steel and aluminum bicycle rims, handlebars, and frames. These designs use train and automobile windows for tabletops, and surplus automotive seat-belt webbing for seating upholstery. Bike Furniture upholstery options are unlimited. Some options include leather, rubber, cork, clear and colored acrylic, and vinyl. - Andy Gregg.

"The concept is to create functional pieces in the form of gardens", she says. "For the furniture, the tires are first collected from the deposits, cut in quarters, cleaned and then re-cut in straps. They are applied to make the furniture, and the rubber is then polished", adds Mecha."
